I became a doula in order to help empower women to have educated, satisfying and safe birth experiences. I believe that every woman deserves to know she and her partner have choices throughout childbirth.
About Me I am fortunate to be the mother of two healthy, wonderful little girls. Both were born with the help of professional midwives -- amazing, compassionate women. Our first was born in a birth center, and our second was born at home. My husband Brad and I live in downtown Orlando.

My Certification I am a DONA certified birth doula and will be a certified birth doula trainer in September '09. DONA International is oldest, largest and one of the best known certifying groups for birth and postpartum doulas. To find out more about this organization please click here.
My Experience I have experience as a labor and postpartum doula with women birthing in and out of hospitals. I have supported unmedicted, medicated and cesarean births.I'm happy to provide references upon request.
